While I know there is still a little over a week to go in 2015, I thought now would be a great time to do a year in review post.

2015 Goals

Yoga at least 1 – 2x per month – Crossed this one off mid year. I did met the goal while it was on the list.

Walk an average of one 5K per monthCOMPLETE! (see above)

Start online health and fitness coaching businessYES! Created my Walk Your Way to a 5K program (stay tuned for exciting announcement). Published ebook on SEO Tips for Bloggers.

Give/sell things I am not using and stop buying things I don’t truly need – Pretty good. Overall I did pretty good on this one. I think I hit it stronger at the beginning of the year.

Utilize standing desk at work more often – Didn’t happen after May. With all my foot issues, standing for a long period of time (in any shoes) is just not advisable right now.

Workout in the AM a few mornings a week – Didn’t happen and NEVER going to happen. Morning exercise and me just don’t seem to mix.

Bench press 150 pounds by end of year – I am at 80 pounds so far. While I didn’t hit my goal, I got halfway there and added this after July.

Time to work on my goals for 2016. One thing I have learned (for me) is that I might do half year goals. January to June and July – December.

  1. Last year I chose the word silence. A way to remind myself to listen more than I talk. To learn from others. And to listen to the messages that are coming from within me.
    It really helped me the past 360 days or so… I need to think about what I might do this year

  2. Last year was my first year for word of the year. I really liked that and I plan to do that again this year. I do set goals but I’m not a huge “goal-oriented” type person. I set some intentions and definitely have a plan for the year. Great job on all the 5Ks!
