Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! Guess what I did yesterday?
I made Amish Friendship Bread! My neighbor brought me a starter kit 10 days ago (when we were all home due to snow). I have been following the instructions daily and did the final step yesterday. It was actually supposed to be done Friday but I just didn’t have the time. It turned out surprisingly well. Kind of shocked to tell you the truth since it had so many steps. Yeah me!
Time to revisit my last week’s workouts and look forward to the week ahead.
Last Week’s Workouts
Scheduled: Deep Water (pool class)
Actual: Deep Water (pool class) – LOVED THIS! Also spent 30 minutes in hot tub before class.
Scheduled: Group Circuit Training
Actual: 20 minutes treadmill, 60 minutes Group Circuit Training (5 stations with 2 exercises each)
Scheduled: Body Combat
Actual: 5 minutes treadmill, 5 minute arc trainer, 10 minute treadmill – just wasn’t feeling this workout at all so I left
Scheduled: Rest Day – 31 Open House in Evening
Actual: Rest Day – 31 Open House in Evening
Scheduled: 30 minute HIIT cardio
Actual: 5 minute treadmill, 20 minute arc trainer, 5 minute treadmill, 10 minutes random weights
Scheduled: To be determined
Actual: 60 minute yoga class + 60 minute core barre
Scheduled: Body Combat or Body Pump or Zumba
Actual: 50/50 chance I make it to Body Combat today, listening to my body from two back to back workouts yesterday
Even without a Sunday class, that is 320 minutes of activity this week (average 45 minutes per day). I am okay with that. I certainly have to build up my endurance and my strength. Back to back yoga and core barre was tough, but doable.

Tuesday – Group Circuit Class
Wednesday – Core Barre
Thursday – Body Attack
Friday – Rest Day / Valentine’s Day
Saturday – Hot Chocolate Lover’s 5K
Sunday – To Be Determined
For the class days I will walk on the treadmill or do the arc trainer if I have time before. I have to get ready for my 5K on Saturday. My goal for 2014 is to do one 5K per month.
My big goal for the next two weeks is finish studying for my NASM CPT (certified personal trainer) exam. Lots and lots to learn, memorize, and know.
