Weekly Workout Roundup

Happy Monday! Good morning! How was your weekend? A quick recap of mine:

Friday night hubby and I went to a new to me pizzeria in a neighboring city. He had been with a friend of his and wanted me to try it. It was delicious and the restaurant itself was really cool. Did I get any pictures? Nope.

Saturday Mom and I headed to the outlets in Pigeon Forge. I wound up getting 2 pairs of shorts, 3 tank tops, 2 summer dresses, and a few more items. Did I get any pictures? One. This is a saying on a t-shirt I bought at Old Navy:

Yesterday I did chores around the house, went to yoga, and then family dinner. Did I get any pictures? Nope.

I have definitely been more “in the moment” than photographing the moment lately. I will try to snap a few here and there this week.

Let’s talk workouts . . .

Last Week’s Workouts

Monday – 10 minute treadmill, 10 minute elliptical, 60 minute Core Barre
Tuesday – 30 minute treadmill, 60 minute group circuit class
Wednesday – 30 minute treadmill, 60 minute Core Barre
Thursday – Rest Day
Friday – 20 minute treadmill, 10 minute arc trainer, 10 minute elliptical, 10 minute weights, leg press PR
Saturday – Shopping and Mowing
Sunday – 60 minute Yoga class

Thursday was a great day for a rest day since the previous days had been heavy on abs. It hurt when I sneezed. Friday morning I had a ton of energy and decided to attempt a leg press PR. And I did it! 400 pounds!!!

While the scale seems to be stuck, I am losing inches and that was certainly evident while shopping. I bought a size smaller than normal in pretty much everything I bought. Talk about a non-scale victory (NSV).

This Week’s Workouts

Monday – Core Barre
Tuesday – Group Circuit Class
Wednesday – Gardening – have to dig up plants and mulch the area
Thursday – Core Barre
Friday – TBD
Saturday – TBD
Sunday – TBD

We both have a three-day weekend, so I am not exactly sure what we will be doing. There will hopefully be some offroading (weather dependent of course). Classes are canceled at the gym on Easter Sunday.

How do you plan to #MoveItMonday? Even if only 10 minutes, try to get some activity in today. Be sure and check out #MoveItMonday’s new website.

How was your weekend? Any big plans for the week ahead?

Have a healthy day!
