Weekly Workout Roundup

Hello! Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend!

So Saturday night hubby was cooking crab legs for dinner and I was sitting at the bar. I looked up and guess what I saw. Someone looking back at me!

Bunny Visit

We hadn’t seen the bunnies in a few days, but they were out and about this weekend along with a new friend – Mr. Chipmunk. Also, check out this beautiful lily from my friend A’s house. Her lilies are GORGEOUS. I wish I had taken more photos.

Now, let’s talk workouts . . .

Last Week’s Workouts

Monday – 15 minute treadmill + Body Flow (new to me)

First time ever taking Body Flow. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. I know it wasn’t the instructor (she is one of my favorite Core Barre teachers). I will say I had foot issues during the class so that probably contributed to my not loving the class. I will definitely try again sometime.

Tuesday – 20 minute treadmill + Core Barre

I was the only one who showed up for Core Barre so the instructor adapted the class to my foot pain. We didn’t do any on the toe exercises – everything was with a flat foot. Let me tell you, I still felt every movement and was definitely sore the next day.

Wednesday – Hair

So, all day Wednesday I was frustrated with my hair and wound up making an appointment for right after work for a new do instead of going to my workout. I must say I think I made the right decision!

Thursday – 30 minute treadmill + Yoga

Love the Thursday yoga instructor! He also does Saturday mornings which are usually hard for me to make. It is very stretchy and relaxing at the same time.

Friday – Rest

Saturday – Yard Sale

It is definitely summer. I was shocked at how much energy got zapped out of me by being out in the hot sun for 1/2 a day. The rest of the day was spent running errands and relaxing with a good book.

Sunday – 30 minutes biking

This Week’s Workouts

I have definitely over-scheduled myself for this week and next week. I am going to have to make each day I get to the gym really count.

Monday – Arms + Core Barre
Tuesday – 31 Open House
Wednesday – Arms + Core Barre
Thursday – TBD
Friday – Rest Day
Saturday – Cheering hubby at 5K and walking
Sunday – Yoga or biking/walking

I see the doctor about the pain in my foot on Tuesday, so that should be interesting. It definitely comes and goes and is worse during workouts.
