Weekend Recap & Planning The Week

Monday, Monday! Here we go again! Let’s catch up from the weekend:

Friday I went to the eye doctor to pick out some prescription sunglasses (below). I am definitely getting more used to my glasses now and realized that having prescription sunglasses would really help. After my eye appointment, I headed back home to work (love working from home on Fridays). It rained off and on all day long. Friday night was dinner with hubby and friends.

Saturday was a Fun Walk while hubby ran a 5K (more rain), then a hair cut and color, then target practice (which got rained out quickly). Saturday evening was dinner at our favorite sushi place so hubby could carb load for Sunday.

Sunday hubby ran a 15K (in the rain) while I drove around cheering for him. Sunday afternoon was more rain but thankfully broke up long enough for me to hit the grocery store. The weekend lacked photos. It was just too rainy. I know we need the rain, but we got quite enough over the weekend.

Today is work, lunch with Mom, and a 31 meeting. And MORE RAIN! I am so thankful that they are calling for a gorgeous weekend.

This week’s workouts are following the #wycwyc (what you can, when you can) plan:

Monday – going to work on moving more, evening meeting
Tuesday – going to work on moving more, evening meeting
Wednesday – Core Barre
Thursday – Weights and/or Walking
Friday – Girls Weekend
Saturday – Girls Weekend
Sunday – Girls Weekend (and possible 5K)

I am super excited about this weekend. Three of my girlfriends and I are heading to the mountains for a girls getaway. It is supposed to be GORGEOUS weather. The outlets are having sales. We are going to Dollywood. Hoping to see some Fall colors. Hopefully next Monday I will have plenty of photos to share.

  1. Back to work after three week break- where I managed to get in at least 8 hours of working out (training for my 121st triathlon). But I will still get in a swim/bike/run or maybe two of those each day this week. No rest for the weary! I want to win my 60-64 age group and knock off some time from last year!
