Disclosure: I was provided these Trekz Titanium Pink headphones by Aftershokz for free in exchange for this review through my affiliation with FitApproach/SweatPink. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Those that know me know that I (a) LOVE any kind of new gadget (including headphones) and (b) LOVE the color pink. So when I had the chance to review these Trekz Titanium Pink headphones, I jumped at the chance. I wasn’t really sure what to think about these because they sit in front of your ears, not ON or IN your ears. They do take some getting used.
You might be asking already – well why do they fit like this and won’t they fall off? The open ear design of these headphones keeps you aware of your surroundings by not blocking out your environment or conversions but still allowing you to enjoy your music and calls. Trekz Titanium Pink are super flexible and lightweight with their titanium frame, and they’ll stay in place, no matter what you put them through.
Obviously, I am not a runner, so I cannot speak to them from that angle. But I have used them in all my workouts and on the elliptical for the past few weeks. I thought with going from the floor to standing to the bench and everywhere in between for my lifting sessions that they would surely fall off or move around my neck. This was not the case. They stayed in place consistently. And after you get used to them, you truly forget they are there.
Where else did I use the Trekz Titanium Pink Headphones?
THE POOL! Now, you can’t go swimming with them, but I was just standing in the pool or sitting on the steps. Why this is important is that the bluetooth feature of these is hard core. I didn’t have to have my phone next to the pool in order to clearly hear my music or the calls. I could also hear my environment (people coming/trains/etc). Do note that you cannot swim in them, but rain or lots of sweat won’t bother them.
CLEANING MY HOUSE. Again, the bluetooth range really impressed me. I had my phone on the kitchen island and cleaned the entire downstairs listening to the music INCLUDING going outside to clean the front porch. They also last 6+ hours without needing a recharge – so you can use them on your long runs or throughout the day. With the rumor that the iPhone 7 is coming without a headphone jack, finding a great pair of bluetooth headphones is KEY!
