Today is . . . National Walking Day

Good morning and Happy Hump Day! Any big plans for Wednesday? Today is my last Yoga for Beginners class. I have really enjoyed this class. It has been great learning the proper way to hold the positions and the instructor is fabulous. I hope to have the chance to take more classes from her in the future.

I also have a webinar to learn more about the BlackBerry Z10 that I was provided by Verizon Wireless. I am looking forward to learning the tips and tricks to operating this phone.

As I mentioned, I am participating in the photo challenge from called #HealthyBalance.

Day 1 – Book You Are Reading: I was reading Bloody Mary. This was a great thriller, loved the story line. It is currently $3.99 on Kindle. If you are a Prime member WITH a Kindle, you can borrow this book for FREE from Amazon.

Day 1: Book

Day 2 – Nails: These are some press on french manicured nails I bought. I am saving them for a special occasion. They look great on, but they fall off my nails quickly.

Day 2: Nails

Do you know what today is? The title was a HUGE clue. Today is:

My Walking Path

National Walking Day

Started by the American Heart Association, Americans are encouraged to lace up their sneakers and take at least 30 minutes out of their day to get up and walk. I encourage you to register for National Walking Day. They provide you with multiple PDFs jam-packed with healthy information.

Here are a few walking posts that I have written that you might be interested in:

Things to Do While Walking: There is a reason I named this blog Let’s Talk and Walk. Talking is one of my favorite things to do while walking. This post lists more things you can do while walking.

Start Walking Now: One of my favorite posts. Don’t wait. Just get out and WALK.

Our office is already planning to take a walk (or maybe two) today. We will walk around the building or maybe around the block. We don’t have steps in our building, so we can’t walk up and down those. I will also be walking before yoga. I may walk around the gym, but if not I will just hit the treadmill.

Are you planning a walk today? Does your office get active together? Do you work out during your lunch hour

Enjoy your day!
