Hello! Did you think I had disappeared? I had all intentions of blogging from Atlanta, but time got away from me. So, a quick recap. Left Wednesday afternoon (in a terrible storm) and headed to Atlanta with one of the ladies I was going to be rooming with. We arrived in Atlanta about 8:30 at the Westin. What a beautiful hotel. Then it was a whirlwind few days with me arriving back in Knoxville at 10:30 yesterday morning. I will do a full recap of the conference later. Here’s a photo of me from conference!
Today is the end of Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp Week 2. How did I do? The real answer is – I didn’t. Monday and Tuesday (before I left for conference) I was sick and not feeling up to working out. Wednesday was to be my scheduled rest day due to travel. Thursday and Friday I did walk over 10,000 steps each day (and gave myself a check for activity). Yesterday I drove, slept, unpacked, and partied with a 3-year-old. Today is up for grabs. I did not do my plank/bridge. I tried to get in liquids, but found it really hard since we were on the go all the time. But you know what? I am okay with everything. I am not perfect, I am human. Instead of stressing over this week and making myself sick, I gave myself permission to put this area of my life on hold for a few days and enjoy the conference.
Tomorrow starts week 3 of bootcamp. I will just jump back on board! We have new workouts starting this week and they look fantastic. My group of friends is ready to start walking (training for our 5K).
