Not Going to Lie – Motivation Needed

Good morning and Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I had a very relaxing weekend. I got a lot of chores done. Both hubby and I are fighting colds so we stayed in mostly.

Not going to lie – workouts for the past couple of weeks have been pretty much non-existent. I have been doing my #1thingdailychallenge (somewhat) and a few walks on the beach and outdoors, but that’s about it. I have had zero motivation. But that’s in the past and there is nothing I can do about it now. I can only work on today.

So, I choose to share some motivation for today – mostly for me, but I hope it can inspire you as well.

I have to remember – it is not one or the other – you can have both. I have to figure out how to fit both in my schedule. Even a 15-30 minute walk some days would be better than nothing. This is my challenge and goal for the next 30 days – figuring out how to fit in fitness and fun at the same time.


I need to look at this every day. Love this so much!

Today I Will

I always (mostly) feel great after a workout. I need to remember that. And then repeat.


Love this. I want to stop focusing on the scale and focus more on getting fit and strong. Then the scale will take care of itself.


My step today – make it to the gym for a workout and make it to the grocery store for some healthy food.

  1. *sigggggghh* I’m feeling ya lady!! I’m wedding planning so my running/fitness mojo is mia most days lol but what helps (besides thinking on the honeymoon) is remembering why I do what I do. Sometimes you just get burned out though. So try shaking things up. Try something new! When I was weight lifting and learning swim I was pumped up. Maybe try yoga, Pilates, a new workout class, sign up for a 5k. Just something new and exciting!
