Good morning and Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was rainy – AGAIN. I got a ton of stuff done and we had a great dinner with friends on Saturday night. Sunday I did a one mile fun walk while hubby ran a 5K. We were so thankful that the storms and rain stopped right before the race and the cookout that followed.

Guess what starts today? Registration for Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp that starts June 17th!!! You might be asking – who is Tina and why is she qualified to do this? Tina is a certified personal trainer through NASM who puts together eight week online bootcamps. You actually get 4 sets of workouts as they change every 2 weeks. Tina provides a completely flexible plan to fit YOUR training likes, goals, schedule, etc. These workouts can be done at home or at the gym.

I have done Tina’s bootcamps in the past and loved them. Sadly my surgeries stopped me from completing one of them and for signing up for the last couple. So I am super excited to be able to participate in this bootcamp. Why am I so excited about this one? Tina is offering some new features, including a beginner’s option. I reached out to Tina about this new option and asked her for a little more info:

When I started up Best Body Bootcamp, my goal was (and still is) to make affordable, accessible, fun workouts for people to follow. I also wanted these workouts to be flexible to any individual and go alongside a great community of support and encouragement. I want that same environment and option provided to anyone. As a trainer, I know we all have to start somewhere and I want even those just starting out to have the chance to participate in BBB. The new Beginner’s Series option in Best Body Bootcamp will provide all the perks of the program (group support, flexible workouts, cash prizes, etc.) but will follow a plan geared directly to those newer to exercise. The workouts are meant to gradually build up strength and confidence in your fitness while setting a firm foundation for future training. The plan includes suggested cardio and 2 strength training sessions per week focused on the basics with slight progressions over the 8 week period. It’s a great fit for those looking to get started. And you can’t beat the community support involved too! Hope you will join us!

Since I have had two major surgeries in six months (my doctor likes to remind me of this), I will definitely be opting for the beginner’s version. It will give me a chance to build my endurance and fitness back up. I also know that I will be able to fit my walking into the bootcamp schedule.
