Five Must Read Blog Posts
An 8 year old’s guide to intuitive eating. by Carla – If you read Carla’s blog on a regular basis you will come to love her and her daughter (and if you don’t read her blog add it to your daily reading). Intuitive eating is definitely something I have been trying to wrap my mind around for a while. It is one of those easier said than done things. I love the advice from Carla’s 8-year-old daughter.
smart snacking! by Danielle – need some ideas or reminders of healthy snacks? Danielle offers up snack options that are both healthy and portable. Prep them on Sunday nights to make it even easier for your busy week ahead. My favorite healthy portable snack is raw unsalted almonds.
4 Tips for EASY Lifestyle Changes by Suzanne – First off – Suzanne rocks! And her next Lean & Strong program is enrolling now. Love these 4 tips she offers for making EASY lifestyle changes. Move more and start small are my two favorites.
September Goal Digging by Brooke – One of the things Suzanne talks about is micro goals. Well Brooke created a goal sheet that I absolutely LOVE (and must start using). There are daily, weekly, and monthly goals. A daily goal might be – eat a piece of fruit. A weekly goal could be – meet step goal of 5,000 three times. A monthly goal could be – try a new fitness class. Brooke shares what her goals currently are.
What your gym bag says about you? by Amanda – I think mine would say – you have too many gym bags and don’t use any of them enough. LOL. Although, in all honesty, I have my own locker at the gym. I try to keep 2-3 outfits plus everything I need in it at all times so I don’t have to worry about a gym bag. I do however have a fabulous 31 bag and Fitmark bag that I carry from time to time.
