Friday’s Fabulous Five . . .

Weekend Starts Here

TGIF! Hope you have had a wonderful week. Last night I stayed in instead of attending an essential oils class. I have so much to do between now and Thanksgiving with not much free time to do it. So, I stayed home and cleaned! Made me feel much better and productive. Then hubby brought home crab legs for dinner. These tried to fit back as I wound up bleeding during dinner and had to bandage my finger. Oops.

Let’s get started with Friday’s Fabulous Five . . .

Five Must Read Blog Posts

Last Week Listens by Heather – I am not a podcast person, but some of these sound really interesting so I wanted to share. Do you listen to podcasts? Do you have a favorite? Share in the comments.

Plus Size Workout Video: All About that Bass by Cece – I LOVE the song All About that Bass – both for the message and just the catchy tune. This is a fantastic workout by CeCe. Need to move your body? Just start this video and workout alongside CeCe. FUN!

Today: Take 5 minutes and turn your day around. by Elizabeth – Love these quick and easy ideas for turning your day around (or starting you day out right). I make our bed every day (although there was a time that I didn’t). I also started a new habit of when I leave a room for the last time in the morning, I spent a few seconds (or minutes) cleaning up, picking up, straightening up. It has made my stress level about the house much less.

The $2.00 Smoothie I Drink Almost Every Day by Jamie – Looking for an inexpensive, healthy, and easy smoothie? Check this one out from Jamie. Super easy and you can change it up by changing the greens, changing the milk, changing the nut butter, etc.

Dieting: Is There Another Option? by Nina – Love this article because the answer to the question is YES – there is another option. The graphic in this post is truly something to think about.

Five Motivational Tweets

Tonight will be dinner with friends and then we are doing an 11PM 5K. The race is called Light the Way 5K and runs partially through Dollywood. The first (and last time) I ran this race was in 2011. You can checkout the recap HERE. They have only held it once since then and I had just had leg surgery and we didn’t go. I am looking forward to seeing all of the holiday lights and hopefully getting some great pictures.

Share something good with me!

Have a healthy day and a fabulous weekend!
