TGIF! Happy Friday! Welcome to August! Seriously cannot believe July has come and gone already.
If you are looking for an August challenge, the TDF group is having an Abs & Booty Challenge. There are jumping jacks, squats, and planks daily. There are quite a few of us so there will be tons of encouragement and motivation. Today’s challenge is 20 jumping jacks, 20 squats, and a 20 second plank. Come join us!
I have a ton of stuff I want to do this weekend and in the middle of it all hubby has a midnight race about an hour away from here. My sleep schedule will certainly be off. I also need a pedicure and am terrible at doing them myself. Hoping to fit that in somewhere.
Okay, let’s get started with Friday’s Fabulous Five . . .
Five Must Read Blog Posts
Ultimate Happy Music Playlist by Julie – Love, love, love this playlist of fun music. So much so that I created the playlist for myself in Spotify. If you have Spotify, I think you can “follow” the playlist HERE. I have never shared a playlist before, but I think that works.
15 Ways To Use Ice Cube Trays by Lindsay – We actually don’t even have ice cube trays at our house, but I loved these ideas. My favorite might be yogurt bites and fruit cubes. I honestly never really thought of using ice cube trays in this many ways. I have heard of people freezing coffee for their iced coffee drinks.
Exercise and Confidence in Midlife: I Am Enough by Alexandra – This is truly a great article that all women should read. We are good enough and absolutely awesome, however we are right this moment. We are all special. Seriously, go read this article.
Shopping fun on ThredUP by Susan – Since my not so great results with StitchFix, I have been curious about all online shopping sites. ThredUP is an online shopping consignment store. You can actually send in your clothes or just buy from their site. Looks kind of interesting.
Fitness Travel Tips by Katy – Katy offers four tips for fitness while traveling and also shares her thoughts on iFit, a new fitness activity tracker. You know I love all gadgets.
