Friday’s Fabulous Five . . .

Happy Friday and TGIF! Guess who came to visit me yesterday? Mr. Bunny. Some people drink coffee in the mornings, watch the news, or read the paper. I seek out bunnies in our backyard!

Plans for Saturday are up in the air right now. I am supposed to be participating in a yard sale with my friend A. I have everything priced and ready to go. Unfortunately they are calling for thunderstorms today and tomorrow. So this afternoon we will make a final decision. Sunday is Mother’s Day. We will be having our annual crab and shrimp boil.

Let’s get started!

Five Must Read Blog Posts

How to Stick With Your Workouts: Tips from Consistent Exercisers by Tina – Having trouble sticking with your workouts? Tina and 17 of her friends share their tips for being consistent. You are bound to get some great tips from these.

An Assignment for YOU: How to De-Stress Your To-Do List For a More Productive Day by Rachel – I am like Rachel, I love lists. I have been working on a packing list for a retreat next weekend for over two months now. Sometimes the to-dos lists can get overwhelming though. What two “to-dos” will you add to your to-do list?

Why I Won’t Tell You What I Eat by Julia – Julia has a fabulous book out called The Fat Burn Revolution (which I owe you a review of). What other people eat (or don’t eat) is really none of our business. I know a health coach who doesn’t eat many green leafy veggies. Why? Because it aggravates an ailment she has. Many people have chosen not to eat gluten. And many health coaches, like me, still enjoy meat – including red meat. Bioindividuality at its best.

New Chest & Back Workout Routine by Sarah – Love this chest and back workout. You just need dumbbells and a stability ball. Sarah has a video or an easy to read chart. Chest Flys are actually one of my favorite exercises and I should do them more often.

Picking the right running shoe – Science or Art form? by Amanda – If you are going to be running (or walking), you NEED the right shoe. Of all the “equipment” needed, this is the most important. And yes, running shoes can be quite expensive. But trust me when I say it is well worth it. Amanda offers some great tips for finding YOUR perfect running shoe. Something to remember – just cause brand X is hot and popular at the moment does not mean it is the best brand for your foot.

  1. Great links Glenneth! I’m going to read several but I’m mostly curious about why I won’t tell you what I eat.
