Hello and TGIF! Another Friday is here. We are expecting thunderstorms off and on all day today and tomorrow. That’s fine as long as Sunday stays pretty for the races.
Well, I did yoga again last night. I have decided I just don’t like this particular class/instructor. She is sweet enough, but I am looking for relaxation/restorative yoga and she is completely power yoga to the Nth degree. I have tried her class three times just to be sure. There are so many different classes and activities out there that you should never feel stuck/trapped in one. Fifteen minutes in and all I want is OUT. So, I won’t be doing this one anymore. I will be trying to make Sunday’s class every week – it is exactly what I am looking for.
Today will be about stretching and balance using FitnessGlo videos. Tomorrow I will do circuit training and Sunday is the 5K.
Let’s get started on Friday’s Fabulous Five . . .
Five Must Read Blog Posts
Healthy Decisions to Make on a Monday by Heather – I know we are just hitting the weekend, but Heather’s healthy decisions to make on a Monday is a must read. Spring Cleaning List by Caitlyn – I love the “rounds” of cleaning that Caitlyn put together. I am guessing she assumes you do them all each year. LOL. I have been doing some spring cleaning but could definitely do more. I may have to follow her checklist.
No-Fail Green Juice Recipe & Other Monday Things by Tina – Juicing is the craze these days and one reason is its health benefits. I have a juicer that is quite neglected. I really like the sound of this recipe from Tina. Thinking I will add these items to my grocery list.
8 Tips to Have a Positive Body Image and Stop Obsessive Eating Habits by Paige – I love all of these tips. Especially number 4 – no food rules. And number 8 – focus on the DO. Love what all your body can do! Maybe it can run a marathon, or leg press 400 pounds, or go hiking with your hubby.
