Flowers & Friday Five


Good morning and TGIF! It is officially one week post surgery. I can certainly tell I had major surgery, but I am glad I did it and I am biting at the bits to be able to walk for exercise again. However these days, I go to work for 3-4 hours and then come home and go to bed. The leg feels MUCH better laying down and elevated (without moving it).


Big event today – the end of my Dietbet. I lost 9.6 pounds during the past four weeks which is over the 4% I needed to lose. WOOHOO!!! All weigh-in pictures have been submitted, I am just waiting to hear they were accepted.

Since it has been a while since I have done Five for Friday, let’s do that today!

Five Great Tweets


This weekend I am getting a much needed hair cut and color. I was supposed to have it done earlier in the week, but just wasn’t up to it. I will also be relaxing and resting as much as possible because I intend to go back to work full-time next week.

Hope you have enjoyed my flower pictures. These were all taken in my yard last night with my Samsung Galaxy Camera. I have been neglecting it lately and thought I would find the beauty in our yard.
