Favorite Motivational & Inspirational Tweets

Good morning and Happy Monday! It is officially SPRING now! Doesn’t really feel like it since it was 33 when I woke up this morning. Some areas of our state got SNOW yesterday. How was your weekend?

Quick weekend recap: Friday was a Feast day for me, Saturday I fasted, and yesterday I ate regular calories. Saturday I spent quite a bit of time cleaning and doing laundry. My plan is to NOT do anything unless necessary (like laundry and grocery shopping) this upcoming three day weekend. I am hoping we have gorgeous weather (or at least not rain) for the three days. Hubby and I plan to do some off-roading and/or hiking.

Motivational and Inspirational Tweets

I love Twitter and have been using it for eight years now. You can find me on Twitter HERE.  I love finding motivation and inspiration on there! Sometimes it can be hard to do with all the links, ads, photos lately. I thought I would share some of my favorites that I have collected these past few weeks.

This one says it all – we cannot get our time back and our health is truly a precious commodity. Make sure to take care of yours!

This is truly one of my favorite Twitter accounts to follow. So much inspiration! You will see them again later this post.  I highly recommend following them!

Think positive. Be positive. One thing that will help? Stop judging others. We are all good enough exactly as we are!

Love this!

Are you spending time in nature? Have you thought about how truly HUGE our universe is? And how wonderful it is that we get to be a part of it.

Don’t be afraid to close one door. You never know what is behind the next one!

<strong>THIS!</stong> While I actually keep telling people I am a year older than I am (no idea why), I feel 10 years younger.

I often say, “don’t worry, be happy.” Yes, I love that song. It is true though – when you are angry or worrying, you are losing the chance to be happy.  Ask yourself when angry or worrying, will this really matter in 5 years?

What’s your favorite motivational or inspirational quote lately?

  1. Lovely quotes indeed.
I’m getting really inspired by: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” – Lao Tsu
It has a lot to with my comeback to CrossFit after being away for 11 months because of a brain tumor surgery.

  2. Someone out there is PRAYING for the “boring routine” youre taking for granted.”

  3. My favorite quote is “if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.”

  4. I’m all about motivational quotes and mantras. Right now, I’m loving all the inspiration I gleaned from Diana Nyad’s biography. And this one by Ralph Waldo Emerson: Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.

  5. Such lovely inspiration! Related to the nature tweet, I thoroughly took in the sights of spring on my run yesterday – the sunny blue sky, the sparkling Lake Michigan, the spring flowers just breaking ground, and the crisp breeze on my face. Happy spring!

  6. I love the quote about anger! Sometimes we forget the person we hurt most with it is ourselves.

  7. Love this! I follow a few mindfulness focused accounts on twitter and their tweets always help me when I’m feeling stressed. Love the Emerson quote!
