Changes + Planning a Healthy Weekend

Good morning and Happy Thursday. It feels like this week should be over already. Amazing how tiring prepping and attending a vendor event can be. Luckily last night was the perfect evening – great workout, dinner with hubby and family, watched my favorite TV show (Survivor), and had a great night’s sleep.

Two more days and then a big weekend ahead. Hubby is running a half-marathon and I am walking the 5K at the same event. They are calling for beautiful weather that morning and I am praying they are right. I am looking forward to this 5K but I really don’t like doing 5Ks in the rain.

Don't Give Up!

Maybe you aren’t looking for the results in the right places. One way to tell changes in your body – CLOTHES! I always gravitate toward XL clothes – whether women’s sizing or unisex sizing. Well, the printing company screwed up and sent me a large shirt (we ordered company shirts for our event) instead of an XL. Imagine my surprise when it fit perfectly. Not tight, not loose – truly the perfect size. I was beyond thrilled to say the least. Here is the best picture I have of me in my new shirt:

Since we are getting closer to the weekend, I wanted to share these 10 tips for a healthier weekend:

Healthier Weekend

Weekends shouldn’t mean a free-for-all away from your healthy living lifestyle. Go ahead and start planning your activity now. Don’t forget to plan on getting plenty of sleep as well. Do you have plenty of healthy food in your fridge? Maybe a trip to the store is in order.

  2. Isn’t it a great surprise when a smaller size fits perfectly! I always say you just have to try it on. You’ll always look best in clothes that fit, no matter what the tag says ๐Ÿ™‚ P.S. That orange color looks great on you!

  3. I really love the tips. I will read them again to keep me on track. I tend to self-sabotage on the weekends.
