Good morning! Morning came bright and early for me – woke up at 5AM. Dozed on and off and watched TV until 7AM, then decided to get up. The good news is I am already halfway through my laundry. Once hubby gets up, I will change and head to the grocery store. Must get that done today. We are also hoping to get in a bike ride this afternoon. We have neglected our bikes this year.
It is going to be a busy week ahead of me. Work, a couple of girls night out, my workouts, etc. I am hoping to fit in a spin class this week. I need to call the location and make sure my pass is still good and that I can get into the class. *fingers crossed* And the best part? This week leads us into a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!! No big plans or races for Labor Day weekend and I am okay with that.

My two personal goals this week were:
* Plank / Bridge
* Stretch 10 minutes per day
Practice definitely pays off. I can now hold an elbow plank consistently for 60 seconds. This is HUGE for me. Planks are a great way to work your abs without crunch after crunch.
You might remember from my 10 Great Reasons to Stretch post, that I put this on my list because I realized I couldn’t touch my toes. Guess who can touch her toes after just one week of stretching? ME! This just shows that I need to consistently stretch. Must stay limber and flexible. I will be leaving these goals the same for week 6.

My workouts this week were mainly cardio since I am trying to figure out what is going on with my calf. Sadly I have been neglecting my strength training, but I will remedy that this week.
