Best Body Bootcamp Week 3 Update

Week 3 of Tina‘s Best Body Bootcamp is in the books. Hard to believe after this week we are halfway through.

Last week I reminded everyone:

I am not following the “official” bootcamp workouts because I am one of Tina’s online personal training customers. Its a little weird not following the “official” workouts because that’s what everyone else is talking about on the support group.

It is definitely weird not following along with the official bootcamp workouts. I kind of feel like the odd man out. Even with that, the support from the Facebook page is fabulous. There are 274 members and everyone is so nice. All posts get comments – whether you are looking for help, need motivation, or are just sharing something you found.

For those of you who wish you had signed up, Tina is planning on offering another bootcamp during the summer or early fall. Be sure to follow her blog at for updates. And, of course, I will post the information here. I do hope she will leave the Facebook group open during the non-bootcamp periods. (Hint, Hint)

My workouts this past week were good. LOVE doing interval training which so far has been done strictly on the elliptical. Walked 2 miles on Saturday and my left calf/foot didn’t give me as much as a problem. However, when I walked 2 miles on Sunday, both calves got tight after a mile and wouldn’t get loose. Seeing the doctor on Thursday. I am not ready to do intervals while walking until I figure out what is going on with my calves/feet. Luckily the elliptical is a great workout (and actually burns more calories than walking).

I am super excited to start riding my bike again. It probably won’t be this week, but I suspect by next week we will start riding again on a regular basis. After my fall late last year, I really need to get back on the bike.

I have said this before and I will say it again. I HIGHLY recommend online personal training with Tina, especially if you are a current bootcamp participant. Tina rocks! It is great having a qualified personal trainer design your workouts and having the flexibility to do them on your schedule. Her prices are so reasonable. Check out her website for her current rates.
