August 2015 Goal Checkup

Welcome to September! I blinked and August is gone. Time to check up on my 2015 goals.

2015 Goals

Yoga at least 1 – 2x per month – I only made it to yoga once this month. I will definitely make sure to plan at least twice for September. Yoga is one thing I can do on my foot right now, so I need to attend as often as possible.

Walk an average of one 5K per month – I am still at 10 5Ks for the year. Down for the count on this one. At least I only have two more to go. My physical therapist thinks I could be back up and at them by October if everything goes well. That would be good since I am already registered to do one on Halloween.

Start online health and fitness coaching business – I have upped my Instagram game and am working on my optins. I have also started Periscoping. I created a site specifically for essential oils. You can check it out at www.yourpathtoessentialoils.com. I am also working with a business mentor in September to jump-start everything (starts around mid month).

Give/sell things I am not using and stop buying things I don’t truly need – I would say I am doing good on this one. I don’t think I bought any clothes this month. I also have two bags of clothes to donate. I am trying to stay out of Target as much as possible.

Utilize standing desk at work more often – This is on hold until my foot issue is resolved. Even as healthy as standing is, my physical therapist advised against using it right now.

Bench press 150 pounds by end of year – Need to focus on this big time! (Changed from 200 to 150 – I had different amounts in different places)

So, while I might not have been concentrating on my goals, I was having a fabulous August and get a lot accomplished and having a lot of fun.
