If you are just journaling what you eat or even exercise, but never reviewing it, what are you getting out of it. She offers five steps to evaluate every few weeks to make sure you are not journaling for nothing. One of them includes logging your workouts as well!
10 Food Blogs I’m Loving Lately by Lindsay – Looking for some new food blogs to read? Lindsay rounded up 10 of her new favorites for you to check out. I looked at these and they look incredible.
Locker Room Diaries by Kath – Loved this post because this is something I have been thinking about lately. I would love to be able to workout at the gym in the mornings and head straight to work. There is a class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6AM that I want to take. Fridays I can come home and shower later in the day, but Mondays and Wednesdays I would need to shower at the gym and head straight to work. Kath takes some of the guess-work out of it for me and I especially love her ‘5’ rule.
Budget Basics by Caitlyn – Love this guest post Caitlin had on her site. While written towards those in their 20s, I think we all probably can use some budgeting help. I like the idea of the 50/30/20 rule and will be trying to apply that to my budget.
Sports Nutrition and “Normal Eating”…is it possible? by Danielle – Love this open and honest post by Danielle about eating, CrossFit, and “normal eating.” Definitely a must read and will make you think about WHY you do or do NOT eat certain items. Love her “No crazy food rules.”
