A little shopping, walking and panic.

Whew! What a crazy morning so far. Up early, early. Hubby out the door to a race in another town. Then I was out the door to get my mom and head to Pigeon Forge for some shopping at Tanger Outlet. Before I ever left the house, I did a little shopping. TICKETS TO BREAKING DAWN! Yes, I am a Twilight fan.

The shops usually have pretty good sales year round and especially during October. To support breast cancer, you can donate $1 and receive 25% off an item at participating stores. At Coach you could donate $5 and get 30% off your entire purchase (WOOT!). I had saved and given myself a budget for the day. I came in 20% under budget thanks to the sales and honestly got more than I planned.

Look at my goodies!

The best part of the day was buying smaller workout pants! WOOT!

This afternoon is filled with housework, blogging, and trying not to have an panic attack. My mom and I are hosting over 30 women for a baby shower tomorrow at my subdivision’s clubhouse. Unbeknowst to me, the roofers started yesterday replacing the roof from the hailstorm. No one bothered to check the calendar. *UGH* I am being told that everything will be finished and cleaned by the evening. But as of 12:30 today, there were no workers and the place was a wreck. So, say a little prayer for me please. I will be heading back down there this afternoon to check on the progress. While I have resigned myself to the fact that they probably won’t get everything cleaned up. There are two entrances into the clubhouse. I need at least one of them to be clean and nail free.

Tonight we are doing a 5K where I will be completing my Workout 1.3 of #5kin100Days.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

  1. Other than the Coach store, where did you find your goodies? We will be in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg the first weekend in November, and we usually go through the Tanger Outlets. Last time we found a great wall hanging at Kirkland’s, but it wouldn’t fit in the car, so we ended up getting it when we got back to town.

    • I got all my workout gear at the Champion store. There is also a Nike shop in the outlets, but I think Champion’s prices are cheaper and their employees friendlier. I got my tops, belt, socks at Lane Bryant. The Old Navy and Gap also both usually have good deals. We often find great deals at Tommy Hilfiliger and Ralph Lauren Polo for hubby. Hope this helps!
