Good morning! Spring is almost here! I saw the beautiful flower above on my walk yesterday. I love that it is light outside longer. We didn’t even notice what time it got dark last night.
Last week was the first full week of March. I planned and worked my March goal pyramid. Check out my workouts:
Monday – Did a 30 minute arm workout (free weights) and a 30 second plank
Tuesday – Nasty rainy day, decided to rest
Wednesday – 30 second plank, 2.5 mile walk on the treadmill, 60 minute yoga class
Thursday – 30 second plank, 1.62 mile walk on the treadmill, 30 minute TRX suspension class
Friday – rest/recovery day
Saturday – Catch the Leprechaun 5K
Sunday – 30 second plank and a 1.5 mile recovery walk
My workouts this week will probably be very similar. I had only meant to do 2 5Ks this month, but I will wind up doing 3 5Ks and a 2 mile walk for races.
Other exciting things on my schedule this week: some big stuff happening at my fulltime job, a much-needed hair appointment, and a family dinner.
A few thoughts for today:
The perfect time never happens. The perfect time to start exercising or start eating better or whatever will never come. So just start now. Pick something and just do it. Try adding in a fruit or veggie each day. Try adding an extra glass of water. Or maybe eliminate the bowl of ice cream before bed. Pick something and start today.
And, focus on happy. You control your own happiness, so why not focus on it. Do something today (and everyday) that makes you happy!
