Since today is the last day of the month and the first quarter, I thought it would be a great time to review my 2015 goals.
Yoga at least 1 – 2x per month – Sadly, I did not make it to yoga any during March. Not on Saturdays or Thursdays. I will definitely need to remedy that during April. However, I surpassed this goal in January and February, so I am still considering it on track for the year.
Walk an average of one 5K per month – Three months in and I have done five of my 12 5Ks. My most recent, the Covenant Marathon 5K was this past Sunday. I have two more 5Ks scheduled for April, so this one is definitely on track.
Start online health and fitness coaching business – Launched my online health and fitness coaching business on January 5th. I am working through Rita Berry’s Blog School and slowly making changes to my site. I am also working on an opt-in piece that will be available shortly.
Give/sell things I am not using and stop buying things I don’t truly need – Definitely on track with this one. Had a 31 blow out sale this past Saturday and got rid of quite a few pieces I didn’t need anymore. I also have a stack of clothing almost ready for our local charity. I am also staying out of Target unless absolutely necessary.
Workout in the AM a few mornings a week – This goal is being removed from the list. It is just not happening.
Utilize standing desk at work more often – Same as last month: I cannot take this off the list, I need to use my standing desk.
So, of these six goals, four are still on track and two are not. I am taking the workout in the AM off the list. New goal:
Bench press 200 pounds by end of year – As many of you know, I have worked quite a bit on my leg strength and can leg press 415 pounds. However, I have neglected my upper body strength. So, that’s my new goal. Work on upper body strength and by the end of the year be able to bench press 200 pounds.
