One of my most popular posts had been a 12 Minute H.I.I.T. Elliptical Workout. Much to my surprise though, all the links (including the workout graphic) were broken. So, I decided to update the post and republish. If you are a blogger, are you checking your most popular posts to make sure everything is in working order?
Time becomes scarce during the holiday season. Parties, work events, family obligations, shopping, decorating, traffic, and more eats into the time we typically set aside for our workouts. So, this is a quick cardio workout that will leave you sweating but take only a portion of an hour.
In case you don’t know, H.I.I.T. stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Sometimes it is referred to as Tabata or Burst training. There are all types of HIIT workouts out there for cardio and strength training. H.I.I.T. workouts are short but effective. They get your heart rate up and keep your metabolism firing long after your workout is finished.
This 16 minute H.I.I.T. workout can be done outdoors (walking or running) or on any cardio machine. You can increase the intensity through the speed, the resistance, the incline or a combination of the three. You can even change-up the interval times if you want – 30 seconds of high and 90 second low or vice versa. So many options – such a short amount of time.
I created a H.I.I.T. Workout board on Pinterest in case you are interested. You can click FOLLOW below.Short on time? Try this 16 minute H.I.I.T. Workout! #FitFluential Click To Tweet
