December is here! That means Christmas is just right around the corner. So, let’s chat. I was thinking about creating a workout and then the 12 days of Christmas song came to mind. That’s right – you can play ALL the Christmas music you want now and no one will look at you funny. I am working from home today and I see lots of Christmas music being played today!
But, since I have SEO on the brain (new book out!), I decided to see what was out there for “12 Days of Christmas Workouts.” Let me tell you, there is some tough competition out there. This is obviously not a new idea concept for bloggers. So, this post actually has two purposes:
1) Give you a fantastic workout (and playlist) that you can easily do at home or in the gym. Do it once through and you have a good workout. Do it 2-3 times through and you have really kicked butt! You can do it from the top down (12, 11, 10, etc.) or you can do it like the song 1, then 2 and 1, then 3 and 2 and 1. Your choice. So this was my original purpose for this post/workout.
2) Since there is a ton of competition in the search results, I plan to incorporate all my knowledge from the SEO book into this post and see how quickly (and how high) I can get this post to rank. I did a screenshot of the competition yesterday and will do a screenshot each day to see what is happening. Then I will do a followup post later this month with the results.
I created a fun playlist on Spotify that you might like. It contains Christmas songs by both old and new artists with of course, the 12 Days of Christmas being first. Have you ever looked to see how many different versions of that there are? WOW! Also, if you haven’t ever checked out Spotify, it is fantastic. I tried using Apple Music when I switched to the iPhone, but Spotify is so much easier to use.
Hope you enjoy the workout and the music!!12 Days of Christmas Workout + Playlist. #FitFluential #yourpathtofit Click To Tweet
